Our approach to policy work rests on three commitments: senior engagement, substantive depth, and integration with the firm's legal practice.

Senior engagement. Our policy advocates have prior senior-level service in the executive branch, on Capitol Hill, or in state government. Clients work directly with the principals on the firm's policy team — not with junior staff handing the work up.

Substantive depth. We pair policy advocacy with the substantive legal expertise of the firm's regulatory, litigation, and transactional practices. Policy is one channel among several; we use it where it's the right channel.

Integrated counsel. Policy questions rarely sit alone. They interact with enforcement risk, litigation exposure, transactional structure, and reputational positioning. Our policy work runs alongside the firm's other practices — not on a parallel track.
