Griffin & Prescott is committed to building a firm whose lawyers, staff, and culture reflect the breadth of the clients we serve and the communities in which we practise. We treat diversity, equity, and inclusion as both an obligation and a strategic strength — obligation because the legal profession owes the public it serves, and strategic because the best legal teams are those whose perspectives genuinely vary.
Our work in this area focuses on three priorities: recruiting and retaining lawyers from a wide range of backgrounds; creating advancement opportunities that turn early-career talent into firm leadership; and engaging with the bar, our clients, and community partners to advance access to the profession.
Our Diversity Committee — composed of partners, counsel, associates, and business-services leaders — sets annual priorities, tracks progress, and reports to firm leadership. We also partner with affinity bar associations, law-school pipeline programmes, and client-led DEI initiatives.
